El PROYECTO DEL RESTAURANTE
You are going to make a skit in the restaurant. The conversation is between the restaurant workers (waiter, cook, owner, whoever) and customers. Requirements: 1)You have to use the POLITE SPANISH with a lot of “gracias, por favor, usted (instead of tú).” 2) The skit begins with making a phone call to reserve the seats (see textbook p37). 3) Something goes wrong at least once, such as the wrong food, bad service, food allergies, high bill, wrong bill, forgot your money, etc. But make sure it gets resolved somehow. 4) Memorize your skit and act really well, and everyone has a fair amount of lines. 5) Turn in your final skit in writing before your performance. 6) Within our short time-limit allowance, you can create a video and show the video to us, or actually act live during the presentation. 7) Use props (such as menú, glasses, paper plates, aprons with picture of salad, steak, etc). 8) You may use menú or other prop as your guide of SKIT, but you cannot READ it. 9) Once the skit begins NO ENGLISH! LA FECHA Límite: ?? It does not necessarily have to be in a Mexican Restaurant. I encourage Spanish Restaurant. or Peruvian restaurant, or other restaurant from Spanish speaking countries, and research the typical food from that country. This project is allotted a little over one-week (including the performance day), so please do not goof, and take it seriously to practice, memorize, and perform. |
