Summer 2022 MU student's testimonial
My trip to Nebrija was one of great experiences, adventures and education. The program was fantastic and allow for growth in the ability to speak and understand the language in a safe and supported environment. The two best parts about Nebrija were the housing and the amazing tour/trips on the weekend. Every student signed up for having a host family and I won the jackpot with my host family. My host mom was named Belen and she was so kind and caring. She truly wanted us to learn the language and talked to us whenever she got the chance. The food she cook was amazing and gave a widespread plate of Spain.
The tours that Nebrija took the student took were informational and just outright fun. They took us to about 4 different historical city and the professor at the school were the ones leading the tours. They spoke to us in Spanish and depending on the level that you were placed in they use a different level of Spanish. For example, my friend was in the A1 level and the Spanish they used for that group was extremely basic. The other extreme is my other friend who was in the highest level C2 they used complicated Spanish/grammar during the tours and gave in depth information. I was right in the middle of these two student and my tour was not too complicated but still gave me interesting information and challenged my ability to understand. As well, the places that they brought us to were historically rich and all were extremely beautiful.
I honestly will never forget my time there and I am going back to Europe this summer to visit more places and this is majorly due to my time in Spain.
